Authentic Thai
At Siam Thai we value the importance of authentic and traditional flavors.
We hope to bring a little piece of Thailand to your table.
Thai Cuisine
Thai cuisine is light, fresh and traditionally seasoned with chili peppers and aromatic herbs – a gourmet delight for those who know and love good food.
It also has a temper: it can be spicy hot (but not as heavy) as fiery Indian food, or as gently flavored as Chinese food. Thai cuisine is a pleasant contrast of these two. You can have it “spicy hot”, or “spicy not”.
The secret of Thai cooking is to maintain a delicate balance between the spices and main ingredients, so that one does not overwhelm the other. Perfection comes with practice and tasting; tasting is the key to success. Texture and color contrast are also important.
Thai seasonings may seem complex, but they’re not. Many are your every day favorites: garlic, onion, basil, coriander, ginger, mint, chili peppers, and curry. Add on to that Thai’s own lemon grass, and kaffir lime leaves and you’re in for an authentic trip. The blend and balance of flavors is what characterizes this exotic, sophisticated, and delicious cuisine.
